Chancee Burley, Veterinary Assistant
Chancee grew up with many kinds of pets and has always wanted to be in the veterinary field. She began her career in vet med in 2005, starting with veterinary science classes and moving into a large clinic as a kennel assistant. She graduated college in 2010 with an associate's degree in veterinary technology and has been in a clinic setting for the majority of the time since, working with both companion animals and livestock. Connecting with pet parents and supporting them through the many stages of pet parenthood have always been her favorite parts.
In her spare time, she loves spending time on our farm with my family, and our German Shorthairs, Miss "Bea" Haven and Marshall Mathers. Raising show hogs and dairy cattle has been a passion, as long as veterinary medicine has. Volunteering with the King County Junior Livestock Show is a highlight of her year. Supporting all of the kids and helping them find their passions in agriculture is the most rewarding part!
